Biography

Monica Byrne provides expert nursing care to the OB/GYN patients at Reston Women’s Center in Reston, Virginia where she enjoys caring for women of all ages.

She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan, where she was born and raised. She then went on to earn a master’s degree with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Having spent more than 10 years serving women and families as a certified nurse-midwife, Monica appreciates the complexity of each woman’s individual health needs and addresses each patient with compassion and empathy.

With three young children of her own, she also understands the demands of being a woman with a busy lifestyle. Her goal is for you to leave your appointment having all your priorities addressed and fully understanding your plan of care.
